How To Make A Basic Budget

     Hello again, Day 2 of Budgeting. I Know, Super Exciting. So, Today I Plan On Teaching Yall On How To Make A Basic Budget. With This Being Said, Let's Begin. 

    Generally, When Making A Budget , Use An Application Like Excel Or Sheets. Warning, Not The Restaurant. Build A Diagram Of The Bills You Have In The Month, and All Of The Daily, Expenses That You'd Do On A Usual Basis. For Example, Restaurants, Entertainment, Shopping, Hygiene, Etc.... After You Have A Diagram Of What You Spend. Determine A Guess Of What You Make Every Paycheck. And, Then Make A Plan. Below Will Be A Basic Example Of A Basic Budget That You Can Download And Use For Yourself. Again, This Is Super Basic, And A Lot More Can Be Do ne To Make A Super Effective Budget. Also, Reply If The Link Doesn't Work, I'll Fix It. With All This Being Said, I'm Done For Today, Tomorrow I Will Talk About Applications That Can Make Budgets For You So You Don't Have To Do The Beginning Work.

    I really enjoyed how you not only explained everything but you also created a live link that allows anyone to get started. Good touch to the blog post. I like how you put your own touch on it acting funny. It makes it more personal. Good resources for someone. I'm not sure why every word is capitalized though. Makes it harder to read.

      So, now that we can generally understand why and how to make a budget. We need to look into why budgeting can grow savings. Most college students (roughly 53% according to studyfinds.org) have a savings account with money in it. Just over half of college students have a savings account with any money, which is horrendously low. So, why not save?     According to studyfinds.org, graduate students spend lots of their money on material things such as clothes, trips, and hobbies. About 52% of graduate students spend money on clothes, 48% spend money on hobbies, and 44% spend money on trips. This keep in mind, is on a regular basis, every two weeks, so, why not save money. Why Is Budgeting Important?

      So, for the next week I am going to explain budgeting. I'm fully aware of the excitement you are feeling right now. So, before I can answer the question stated above, I need to explain what budgeting is. Budgeting is the act of keeping and putting your money in pockets and in predetermined places to keep track of spending. It's a great tool to use as a college student. For me personally, I have a set limit that I can spend per week, and I make decisions based on how much I want to spend. But, let's excuse my experiences and understand why it's important.      Budgeting keeps people in check and helps give an understanding of where their money goes. If you buy say a five dollar Starbucks coffee everyday, love to buy clothes, and overdrafts their bank account twice a month, why not change your habits and start budgeting.
